At 10 minutes from the campsite les Biches, discover the typical port of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie!, there is the famous sardine fishing of  Saint-Gilles, and  the greedy can not sulk their pleasure! The local sardine is first (and only) Red Label wild fish. Its preparation is subject to strict rules giving it a unique quality. Fried in sunflower oil and boxed manually on a bed of extra virgin olive oil in a local cannery, she will give you four months later an unforgetable taste and flavor. You can also take the opportunity to wander the narrow streets of the white houses with colorful shutters.

A Challans, discover the history of fair (des 4 jeudis) Born in the Middle Ages, the tradition continues. This fair is trading and cultural.  Renew every year. You can discover all kinds of products typical of the Vendée, animations and even a Firework show!
