FAQ : all the questions you have about camping

INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR RESERVATION

When do you need to pay the remaining balance on your rental?

The remaining balance on your stay must be paid at least 30 days before your arrival date. Are you worried you’ll forget? Don’t panic. We’ll send you a brief reminder email ahead of time.

Is the campsite VACAF certified?

Yes, our campsite is VACAF certified so, if you receive CAF benefits, you are entitled to a CAF contribution to the price of your stay with us. Beginning in early February, you can make a reservation on our website, providing us with your beneficiary number and your CAF department in the “COMMENTS” field. We will handle everything for your reservation: we will create a file with VACAF, calculate your contribution, and so on.

What measures has the campsite taken as a result of COVID-19?

At Les Biches, we are committed to your safety and the safety of our staff, so all common areas (reception, toilet/shower blocks, play areas, fitness areas, water park, etc.) are disinfected daily, and our rentals are disinfected between guests. You can find all our commitments in the Flower Safe+ charter.

Do you accept Chèque Vacances holiday vouchers?

Yes, we do. Not only for the price of your stay but also for all of the campsite’s leisure activities like introductory scuba lessons and so on.

What is the latest we can check in at the campsite?

You can check in up until 11:45 pm. At midnight, the automatic entry/exit gates are closed to limit traffic. If you will be arriving when reception is closed (after 6 pm from April to June and in September or after 8 pm in July and August), please let us know by email, phone or via the Flower Campings app, so that our teams can prepare for your arrival. They will then leave an envelope addressed to you by the entrance to reception.

Are swim shorts allowed in the water park?

Like any public pool, swim shorts are prohibited in our water park. Long shorts and trunks must be limited to the beach. Only aqua shorts and swim briefs are allowed in the pools. Plus, they are better suited for swimming. Swimskins and UV-blocking garments will be permitted so long as they are only used at the pool.

Are pets allowed at the campsite?

Pets are welcome at our campsite, but they need to be kept on leads and must not be left alone in a rental or on a pitch. In July and August, only dogs weighing 10 kg or less are allowed. The rest of the year, bigger dogs may be permitted by prior request submitted to reception when making your reservation. All pets must be tattooed and vaccinated, with up-to-date health records. Lastly, attack dogs and guard dogs are never allowed.

Does the campsite have WiFi?

The entire campsite has WiFi coverage. You can connect your device at any time from the deck of your rental or from your camping pitch. Information and packages are available at reception and on our website section services.

How far is the campsite from the ocean?

The vast Sion Beach in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez is less than 5 kilometres from the campsite and can be reached by bicycle in 15 minutes along the cycling trails departing from the campsite. Fancy a stroll with your feet in the water? Discover all the beaches located near our campsite.

Are barbecues allowed at the campsite?

Charcoal grills are prohibited by prefectural decree, because the campsite is located inside a pine forest. Planchas are available for hire at reception desk. Small electric barbecues are permitted, up to 1000W.

Yes, our campsite has all kinds of bicycles for you to hire, for adults and children, classic or electric, with a baby seat or trailer. We’re here to meet your needs. Information and prices available at reception.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR RENTALS

What time are the rentals available?

Our rentals are available to you between 4 and 6:30 pm, once our housekeeping and hygiene teams have finished preparing your rental. To ensure your health, safety and comfort, we adhere to all the criteria listed in the Flower Safe+ charter.

You can arrive at the campsite before 4 pm, though. Just stop by reception to pick up your wristbands so you can go to the pool, or else you can sip on a cocktail or enjoy some ice cream at the bar while you wait.

Are the rentals air conditioned?

The pine forest is our natural air conditioner. In the shade of the pines, you will find the temperature is always pleasant. Breathe in the aromas of the pine trees and listen to their bark tanning under the sun… That’s it, you’re on holiday!

Is there a television in the mobile homes?

Televisions are provided in our rentals at the Comfort TV level and higher. Before you make your reservation, please don’t hesitate to phone us. We will be happy to guide you in your choice of mobile home or cottage if you want to make sure a television is included!
